Results

  • Created Bend’s first complete north-south and east-west key walking and biking routes (Key Routes).

  • Charted a clear and implementable path towards a safer, more connected active transportation network

Our Work

  • Established treatments implemented on Key Routes that holistically fit city needs, including vehicle operations, bicycle and pedestrian level of stress, constructability, and utility and right-of-way impacts

  • Advances a suite of context-sensitive, cost-effective solutions, including shared-use and protected paths, raised cycle tracks, intersection safety enhancements, and strategic quick-build modal filters
